Recently, I wrote a tongue-in-cheek post asking ten burning questions regarding my daughter’s favorite show, Sofia the First. This morning, the show’s creator and executive producer, Craig Gerber, hopped on Twitter to say that he dug my post and to answer my dumbass queries.

Sometimes, we just pretend that certain things didn’t happen.

I have a daughter that will turn 4 in a couple of months. Considering we spend a great deal of time together and I live in a place far from many of my friends, she is probably my best friend. She’s an amazing person, full of life, vitality, jokes, and questions. Oh, the questions.

In January, a big deal was made when HBO began braodcasting The Godfather Epic, a film that combined The Godfather and The Godfather Part II into a single film told in chronological order, from Vito’s early childhood to Fredo’s death. However, it was not the first time this had been done. Far from it.

Taste is subjective. Rankings are subjective. And personal preferences are subjective. So, when you combine those three, people will appreciate the attempt and applaud the effort, but also wonder how you could forget that one thing that is clearly as good as – if not better than – everything else that was included.

I know that it is a golden age for television, but at the moment I simply don’t have the time or inclination to dive into a new series. The TV in my living room is usually playing Disney Junior and I’d prefer to either read or write. If I am going to watch something new, it’s usually a movie – in and out in two hours.

Serial, the most popular podcast in history, returned yesterday.
