It’s felt like a weird week.
For some reason, I was just a little off the entire time. Tomorrow, I’ll be outside fighting leaves and acorns so feel free to send reinforcements. Sunday, my parents are coming to visit to celebrate my mother’s birthday and I’m excited. It is true that the older you get, the more you enjoy their company. For their part, I think they’re happy and relieved that all three of their kids have their own lives and careers and don’t need them to guide them anymore (even if we still ask for advice).
